ROSI EXM — Multiple-choice Testing

Software for officers to revise and test themselves on the registration of security interests: 7 question sets, 60 questions each, 60 minutes to answer, marked immediately, with the results kept for managers to see.

1Who it is for

  • Officers registering security interests who need to revise Decree 99/2022/ND-CP, Decree 21/2021/ND-CP and the professional procedure 25/QD-CDK&BTNN.
  • New officers who need to practise on particular groups of articles (Articles 8–15, 16–24, 44–49, 50–55).
  • Whoever runs the test round (the director's account): seeing who has taken it and what they scored.
  • Whoever manages the user list: adding and removing the officers allowed to sign in.
  • Whoever opens and closes the system during a test period.

2How to open it

  • Address: supplied by your administrator — not published publicly. Open it and the page sends you to the login screen.
  • You must sign in. You sign in with a phone number (not an email) and a password. The initial password is given to you privately by the director; change it straight after your first sign-in.
  • Your phone number must already be in the user list. If it is not, the phone box reports "This phone number is not registered." — ask the director to add you.
  • Going straight to a test page without signing in does not work: the system sends you back to the login screen.
  • It works on a phone. The page adapts to the screen. On a narrow screen (under 700 pixels wide) the question grid folds away; press "Show question grid" to open it.
  • Nothing to install. A browser and an internet connection are enough.

3Everyday tasks

Signing in

  1. Open the address your organisation gave you.
  2. Type your phone number into "Phone number". If it is recognised, your name appears just below with a ✅.
  3. Type your password into "Password". Press the eye icon 👁️ to see what you are typing.
  4. To avoid typing it next time, tick "Remember me on this device". Only tick it on your own device.
  5. Press "Sign in".
  6. With the wrong password the system reports "Incorrect password. Please try again." and clears the box for you.
  7. Once in, you land on the "📚 Choose a question set" screen. Your name shows in the top right.

Changing your password

  1. On the login page, press "Change password" (bottom left of the login panel).
  2. The "Phone number" box is already filled in if you typed it above. Check it is right.
  3. Type your "Current password". If you have never changed it, it is 1.

Entering your details and choosing how to sit it

  1. On the "Candidate details" screen, the line "📌 Set chosen:" repeats which set you picked. If it is wrong, press "← Choose another set".
  2. The "Candidate name" box is filled in from your account and cannot be edited.

  4. Three optional tick boxes:
  5. Press "🚀 START". The 60-minute clock starts immediately.

"Shuffle questions" — off by default. Turn it on to have the question order change each time.

"Shuffle answers" — on by default. The A/B/C/D order changes each time.

"Show the explanation immediately" — off by default. Turn it on to read the explanation as soon as you answer. Good for revision, not for a real test.

Sitting the test

  1. The screen shows one question at a time. The top bar shows your name, the set, "Question 1/60", how many you have answered, and the clock "⏱️ 60:00".
  2. Press the answer you choose. It is highlighted at once.
  3. Move on with "Next →", go back with "← Previous".
  4. To jump to any question: press its number in the "🗺️ Question grid" on the right. Answered questions have a solid background; the one you are on has a gold border.
  5. On a phone, press "Show question grid" to open the grid and "Hide question grid" to close it.
  6. You may change an answer as often as you like until you submit.
  7. In the last 5 minutes the clock changes colour as a warning. At 60 minutes the system submits for you.

Submitting and seeing your score

  1. Press "📤 Submit" (the red button to the right, below the question).
  2. The "⚠️ Confirm submission" window appears, telling you how many questions are unanswered.
  3. To go back and finish, press "Keep going". To settle it, press "Submit now".
  4. The results screen shows: your mark out of 10, how many you got right out of the total, and a grade.
  5. The four tiles below show "Correct", "Wrong", "Skipped" and the "Time" you took.
  6. How the mark is worked out: mark = (correct ÷ total) × 10, to one decimal place. A blank counts as wrong, but nothing is deducted.
  7. Grades by percentage correct: 90% and above is "EXCELLENT"; from 80%, "VERY GOOD"; from 70%, "GOOD"; from 50%, "SATISFACTORY"; below 50%, "NEEDS IMPROVEMENT".

Reviewing the answers, retaking, saving and printing

  1. On the results screen, press "📖 Review answers" to go through all 60: which were RIGHT, WRONG or SKIPPED, what you chose, what the right answer is, with the explanation and the article it comes from.
  2. Press "🔄 Retake" to go back to the set selection and start again. If you turned on "Shuffle questions" or "Shuffle answers", the order will differ next time.
  3. Press "💾 Save result" to record it on the device you are using. It reports "✅ Result saved!".
  4. Saved results appear in the "📊 Test history" table at the foot of the set selection screen. It keeps the last 30 attempts.
  5. To clear that table, press "🗑️ Clear history" below it and confirm.
  6. Press "🖨️ Print result" to print it on paper or save it as a PDF through the browser's print dialog.
  7. Press "Sign out" in the top right when you have finished, especially on a shared computer.

Managers: following results and managing users

  1. Go to the software's login page. If you are in the middle of a test, press "Sign out" first.
  2. Type the director's phone number into "Phone number". Only that number brings up the "⚙️ Manage users" link on the right. Any other number is told "Only the director may access this."
  3. Press "⚙️ Manage users". The "⚙️ User management" window opens with three tabs:
  4. To clear history data, choose the type in the filter box, press "Clear history" and confirm. Once cleared it cannot be recovered.
  5. Opening and closing a test round: on the "List" tab, the "System status" panel has one button. When open it reads "Close the system"; when closed it reads "Open the system". Press and confirm.
  6. While the system is closed, users see "🔒 The system is temporarily closed. Please come back later." and the "Sign in" button is dim. The director's account can still get in.
  7. Press "Close" to leave the management window.

"List" tab: every officer (no., name, phone number, organisation). Press "Delete" at the end of a row to remove someone. The director's account has no "Delete" button.

"Add user" tab: fill in "Full name", "Phone number", choose the "Organisation" (Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi / Da Nang), then press "➕ Add user". The new user gets an initial password — remind them to change it on first sign-in.

"History" tab: choose "Test results" in the filter to see the marks — name, organisation, set, mark, correct/total, time taken, when. Choose "Sign-ins" to see who has entered the system. Choose "All" for both.

Loading your own question set from a JSON file

  1. On the set selection screen, scroll to the "📥 Import a custom set" panel.
  2. Press "📥 Import JSON" and choose a .json file from your computer.
  3. The file must be a list of questions. Each needs: the question text, a list of answers (at least 2), the index of the correct answer (counting from 0), and an explanation.
  4. If it loads, a green line shows "✅ file-name (number of questions)". If the format is wrong, a red line names the question at fault.
  5. Once loaded, the seven set tiles are deselected. The test runs from your file, shown as "Imported set".
  6. Press "⚙️ NEXT – ENTER YOUR DETAILS →" and sit it as usual. The time is still 60 minutes however many questions there are.

4Tips and common problems

  • Pressing an answer tells you at once whether it is right. As soon as you choose, the system turns the correct answer green and your answer red if it was wrong. This is a revision tool, not a sealed examination room. Do not use it for formal marking unless you accept that.
  • "💾 Save result" only saves on your own device. On another computer or another browser the "📊 Test history" table is empty. On the shared version the director sees, the system records it when you submit, with no button to press.
  • Do not close the tab or press F5 mid-test. Work in progress is not saved. Reloading loses every answer and resets the clock.
  • At 60 minutes it submits itself, however many questions are blank. Watch the clock in the corner.
  • Do not tick "Remember me on this device" on a shared computer — the password is stored on that machine.
  • The "Sign in" button is dim with no message: either the system is closed, or your device cannot reach the results store. Try another network; if it still fails, tell the system manager.
  • On a phone the question grid is hidden by default. That is normal. Press "Show question grid".

5Frequently asked questions

What if I forget my password?

The software has no self-service reset. Tell the director. The fix is to delete your account on the "List" tab and add it again on the "Add user" tab; the password then returns to the initial one.

How many times may I sit one set?

As often as you like. Press "🔄 Retake" as many times as you want. But every submission is written into the results history that the director can see.

Do I lose marks for leaving a question blank?

No. A blank simply scores nothing, the same as a wrong answer. Guessing costs you nothing extra.

Can I change the candidate name on the test?

No. The "Candidate name" box is locked to your account. Only the "Organisation" box can be edited.

Does sitting it on a phone give a different mark from a computer?

No. The marking and the 60 minutes are identical. Only the screen layout differs.
